Learning to use film cameras

Last Friday, we had a practical lesson for our media studies course in which involved the use of Sony nx5 film cameras. Initially we were instructed how to set up and use the tripods as well as learning how to balance the cameras using the water balance. I had used tripods in the past however these were far better quality. Also, we were taught how to turn the cameras on and off, how to zoom and focus, how to focus on someone far away (by zooming on to the subjects face, focus on it then to zoom back out) and also how to colour correct the image on the screen, this I found most useful, it was archived by fixing the white balance on a white object.
