Whilst editing we have stumbled across the question of whether there is a “standard” way of listing people in the opening credits. Although this seems to be dependant on the style of film or the era it has been made in it as this seems to differ greatly; for instance classics such as 'the godfather' only opens with the title and save the rest of the credits for the end. Whereas today due to our capitalist driven society, high-powered talent demand specific types of onscreen billing in their contracts. Considering our film is 'film Noir' inspired, most films made in the 1930s through 1950s listed lots of cast and crew in the opening credits, often in a sort of Playbill format as if the movie was a filmed stage play; so, perhaps this is the best way forward for us.
