During our filming day there were four key elements; the black studio set, the white studio set with projections, the woods in daylight and the woods during the night. With hindsight the blend of elements crafts a good balance of a professional musical image for the band and exposure of the band's friendship and fun-loving energy. We believe this blend accurately fits into the indie-rock genre targeted at 15-25 year olds.
The black studio set:
This was the first set that we shot during the day, it was relatively simplistic appearance wise as we were only using the footage for the projections but with hindsight this part of the shoot could have been quicker as we did not need quite so many shot types.
The white studio set with projections:
The woods in daylight:
This part of the shoot took the most preparation as we had to build the tents and arrange the props prior to the shoot; fortunately, due to our thorough planning the set build was as efficient as possible. This was also the most 'care-free' section of the shoot, as we let the band interact with each other on their own accord, we were able to do this as we used the handheld Canon 5D so we could film them interweave throughout the set.
The woods during the night:

The white studio set with projections:
Following the first set, we hung large white sheets over the studio to project the pre-shot footage of the dancer and the London scenes. The projections allowed us to be creative in the ways we shot the footage as we could vary each shot type depending on the projection used.

The woods during the night:
Once it had reached darkness in the woods the set needed little alteration other than projecting the footage from earlier on in the day onto the tents.
